| ABOUT STAR |
|
The mission of STAR is to promote Jewish renewal by helping the synagogue find and implement ways to meet the spiritual, educational and social needs of every member of the Jewish community.
STAR aims to provide leadership, direction and resources to the renewal of Jewish life by joining in the effort to significantly expand the number of successful congregations functioning throughout the United States and Canada. We want to contribute to the communal endeavor to transform our synagogues. They should be vibrant centers of Jewish experience and learning, excellent institutions that inspire a growing community of Jews living in North America to embrace Judaism and to participate meaningfully in Jewish activities.

| ABOUT STAR Tech |

The STAR Tech Program works with rabbis and congregations to explore the most effective ways to use emerging technologies to enhance synagogue life and make it more relevant for affiliated and unaffiliated Jews. The Rabbinic Program seeks to use online educational and communications technologies to broaden rabbis’ skills, to increase intra-congregational communication and activities, and to deepen contacts between and among rabbis and their congregations (inter and intra denominationally).
